Meet the Squad BBQs

Doncaster Knights will be holding two pre season BBQ’s this year to enable the fans to meet players old and new, and attend a Q&A session with the coaches Lynn Howells and Brett Davey. Entry to9 these BBQ’s is free for season ticket holders and members, with a £5 charge to those who fall into neither category. Discounted food is available at these events, with an burger discounted down to £1.80 for example compared to standard prices.

From 7.30pm on Tuesday the 11th August you can meet the players in the Woodside Suite, with a BBQ set up at the base of the stand. The bar will be open and the players will be on hand to answer your questions on the preparation for the coming season. As they will have just played Pontypridd in the first away friendly the DVD of that game will be available to watch on the big screen also.

From 7.30pm on the 18th of August Director of Rugby Lynn Howells and assistant Brett Davey will be on hand to answer questions in a Q&A session on the Woodside suite, De Mulder Lloyd Stand, Castle Park. Once again the BBQ will be available and as they will have just played the second Pre Season friendly the game against Worcester Warriors will be playing on the big screen.

You can pay on the day, or in advance if you do not fall into the invitation category (season ticket holder / member). Season tickets can be collected on these days also, as they are at the printing stage already this year.
