The Blocks and covers have been taken up at Castle Park and with a clear sky and sunshine the pitch looks like there will be no problem with playing on it today.
The work yesterday by the ground team has seemingly preserved the pitch from the rigours of last nights freezing weather.
We will await the decision of the official on his arrival but have every confidence todays Christmas game will go ahead as planned.
