Echoing the issuesof pre season Doncaster Knights seem once again on the edge of an injury abyss.

Livewire winger Matty Williamswill be reduced to duties in Christmas Corporate hospitality rather than taking up his position on the pitch due to an injury sustained in training.

Williams, who's performances though few have been exciting, suffered a shoulder injury during training which caused him to miss the Cornish Pirates gameand is once again a doubt for this weekend. Having not responded to treatment Williams will be unable to partner Andy Wright on the weekend, who returned against the Pirates to open his try scoring account this season.

With Flockhart still receiving treatment for a hand injury, and Williams looking at a scan on his shoulder injury Andy Wright is now the only fit natural winger at the club.

Hudson Tonga'Uiha and Chris Briers , although traditionally Centres have both played on the wing previously and may be called into action as makeshift wingers this weekend meaning a shuffle to the pack once more for Howells.
