The first four young people who will be taking care of Ball Boy / Girl duties have been names for the 17th of December evening of Rugby Legends at the EIS Sheffield. Doncaster Knights Mini junior Rugby section will be providing the Ball Boys for the 17th December event that pits playing Legends from England, Wales, New Zealand and Australia together under International Touch Rugby regulations.

Legends such as Neil Back, Martin Offiah, John Bentley, Robbie Paul, Iestyn Harris and Mike Catt will be supported by Lucy Rhodes and Kira Drabble from Doncaster Knights U15’s girls, as well as Edward Miles from Doncaster Knights U13’s boys and William Davis representing Doncaster Knights U14’s boys.

This two hour event is due to receive a grand total of 8 hours worth of Sky Sports this coverage, so look out for in on the programming over Christmas.

Legends of Rugby - under international Touch rules - is set to rock the glamorous English Institute of Sport in Sheffield on Thursday evening December 17th.

League and Union players embracing each other as ENGLAND, WALES, NEW ZEALAND ALL GOLDS, THE BUCCANEERS all take centre stage to find the Legends of Rugby Champions 2009.

Christmas is a time for childen,caring and helping those in distress. Therefore the well being of children is paramount on the night and full support will be given to the Wooden Spoon Charity who do so much for children's welfare.

Refreshments available throughout the evening.

Each team will play each other in 6 12mins games. There will be no drawn games as golden point will decide the winner. All teams will have specially designed indoor kits in their own team colours. Squads will consist of 9 players per team with 6 in play at any one time and operating unlimited interchange.
