Two Top Knights Out

Doncaster Knights have announced the date of the meet the team BBQ as the evening of Tuesday the 11th August, with free entry being offered to Season Ticket holders and members this year as an extra show of respect for their support. Both of these events start at 7pm

The Squad will have played their first testing pre season game, away at Pontypridd, and the BBQ has been delayed at that time to give fans and players some Knights rugby to talk about as well as plans for the season.

The BBQ will take place at the Woodside end of the De Mulder Lloyd stand, with the Woodside Suite also open to provide bar facilities for those who attend.

As an extra addition to the evening it is intended to play the DVD of the Pontypridd game on the screens in the Woodside Suite for those fans who were unable to travel to the first pre season game.

Prices for those wanting to attend who aren’t Season Ticket holders or Members will be £5, payable in advance or on the evening.

For Tuesday the 18th of August the Knights have a special treat in store for those who would like to spend an evening with two of the legendary Valley Commando’s. Lynn Howells and Brett Davey will be the focal point of another Woodside BBQ at Castle Park where a Q&A session on their past glories at Pontypridd and their upcoming season at Doncaster will be the opening act for the viewing of the DVD of the game against Worcester, the second of the Knights pre season friendlies.

Both of these events are free of charge to Season Ticket holders and Members, and a minimal charge of £5 to attend these evenings is all it costs to join in the fun.
