Direct Golf Day

DIRECT hosted it’s second Golf Day on Thursday 11th June, which proved a huge success for everyone involved. Making up DIRECT’s own team were Programme Manager Ali Wood plus Rugby Activity Officer John Rouse who were joined by our new first team coach – Brett Davey and fly half Ali Warnock. After a great effort the DIRECT team came a respectable 5th out of 11 teams. The winners and prizes awarded of the day were:-

1st – Terrafirma – Golf bags for each team member
2nd – RJ Cadman Construction Ltd – Golf shirts for each team member
3rd – Hesley Group – Golf balls for each team member

Once back at Castle Park the evening was hosted by Nick Johnson. The evenings activities included a game of heads and tails, a raffle and an auction. Included in the auction were a signed shirt from Lee Westwood and a rugby ball signed by Lawrence Dallaglio. Winners are listed below:-
