Repeating on Living TV at the moment is the last series of the hit show “4 Weddings”. One of Castle Parks proudest off the field moments was a victory in the episode in featured in, winning the luxury honeymoon for Newly Wed couple Victoria and David Sedgewick.

The 6th of June Wedding showcased everything that is great about Castle Park as a venue, and coming top in the catering stakes was celebrated but not unexpected as we are known for top class food here from our wonderful catering staff. Everything on the day, from the hospitality of our hard working staff, to the Marquee decoration of the suite down to the catering and atmosphere won out on the day much to the pride of General Manager Neil Holmes and his assistant Matthew Stokom.

Our catering staff worked with David and Victoria, as they would work with you. Catering Manager Janet Hayes has a lifetimes experience in making sure your guests get the very best of everything requested. We can even help book the entertainment and decoration to make the whole wedding run smoother, as we did for our winning couple.

And for those not following the path of a Church Wedding, Castle Park itself is a licensed Wedding Venue, meaning your Ceremony as well as your Celebration can he held within our wonderful premises with the support of our experienced staff. We can also host Partnership naming Ceremonies and naming days with the same attention to detail.

Possibly the most satisfying statement from a TV Wedding guest was “I never imagined a Rugby Club Wedding would look like this, I expected an old Club house and muddy boots...”. Castle Park the Clubhouse is a multi million pound structure built to be flexible and modern and cater for every type of function. The views from the balconies overlooking the Sandall Beat Woods and Nature Reserve enhanced the atmosphere of the day, while the modern suites with their well stocked and spotless bars house dance floors to dance the night away. The installation of an indoor Marquee on the day was a great touch, but is a regular occurrence at Castle Park as we look to provide and an event that stays in the memory for ever.

That, on the day, is why we won the TV show.
