Emergency Services Camp this Half term.
Wondering how to keep the kids busy this Half Term? How about letting them work with real a real life hero? The first week of Half Term can be spent at Castle Park, but this time it’s not just rugby the children experience for their £60. From Monday the 26th of October you can send the kids to Castle Park for the equivalent of £12 per day, and we will promise to show them some real excitement.
After the huge success of the Easter Rugby camp, and the massive success of the Summer Rugby and Multi Sports Camps Doncaster Knights have decided to go one bigger an put on the biggest and most exciting camp of all this half term, the Emergency Services Camp. This camp will feature the heroes of the Ambulance, Police and Fire services and the Armed forces Emergency Units hosting one day each at Castle Park. Juniors( and adults) can learn about how these people save lives as part of their every day working lives, and learn some of the skills and dedication it takes to be a true hero.
Even bigger than that is the 5th day of the camp, after all 4 Emergency Crews have had their day of tuition. The 5th day will be a huge reconstruction from all 4 services which will make for a spectacular sight for all involved. Imagine the Fire crews, the Ambulance Crews, the Police emergency teams and the Army all reconstructing the very extremes of their jobs while teaching children about how to stay safer and what it takes to be a hero.
All of this is managed by our CRB checked staff, and run in our safe and respectful Rugby Club atmosphere at Castle Park.
Don’t leave them sat in front of the games console this half term, bring them face to face with real heroes at the home of the Doncaster Knights.
The timetable for the week is 5 days running 9am-3pm, with sporting activities filling out the days until it is time to be collected for home.
