Warnock puts the ball into touch for a 2nd line out, Bryn Griffiths takes the ball and the Doncaster forwards are driving to the line. 9-13 mins: Steve Boden steals the ball at a Nottingham line out and is then penalised for holding on. Nottingham opt to kick for the corner this time. The line out is won just inside the Knights 22 and Nottingham have the penalty advantage. Kick is put into touch for a second line out and its won again, and this time the Knights are penalised for going in at the side of the maul & Adam Kettle is yellow carded. (0-0)

15 mins: Knights snuff out the previous attack from Nottingham and have a line out midway up inside their own half, but the line out is lost and Nottinaham have the ball back. (0-0)

16 mins: Boden penalised for hands in the ruck just inside his own 22, Tonks has decided to go for the penalty attempt as the kick is right infront of the posts. This time his kick is good and Nottingham have the lead. (0-3)

23 mins: Nottingham lose the ball after a good break from their no'8 but then are awarded a penalty as Doncaster were caught offside at the ruck. Nottingham line out 5 metres from Knights line is taken, but the Nottingham forwards are pushed into touch. (0-3)

25 mins: Knights penalised for bringing down the maul five metres from their own line and Steve Boden is sent to the sin bin this time. Nottingham win their line out and have the ball with their forwards but the Doncaster pack forces the turnover. (0-3)

30-35 mins: Nottingham have the ball on halfway, but the Knights force the error again as Nottingham knock on. Doncaster win the resultin scrum and a great kick from Warnock finds touch inside Nottinghams 22. The line out ball is stolen by a Knights forward who breaks for the line. The ref blows for a Knights scrum right on Nottinghams line, Boyde grabs the ball and breaks but loses it in contact. Nottingham regain possesion. (0-3)

46 mins: Nottingham penalised right on half way, Warnock finds touch  and the Knights win the line out. The forwards are pushing on but lose it as Nottingham steal the ball. A deep kick from Tonks now forces the Knights to defend a line out inside their own 22. (0-3)

49 mins: Nottingham penalised for crossing but are awarded a penalty as the Knights had already just been penalised. Tonks kicks the penalty. (0-6)

56-60 mins: Nottingham have put in at the scrum ten metres into the Knights half, and the scrum half breaks away with the ball and finds their winger Streather who breaks through the line but as he runs back inside he is caught, illegally the referee deems and Nottingham have a line out now five metres from the Knights line. The line out is won and their pack has the ball but the ref blows for a Nottingham scrum, their no'8 breaks from the scrum down the blind side and finds the scrum half who goes over in the corner. Usasz Try, Tonks misses the conversion. (0-11)

62 mins: Tim Taylor breaks through the Doncaster line and waits for the perfect moment to pass to Ben Johnston who scores under the posts. Tonks adds the conversion. (0-18)

78 mins: Knights penalised inside their 22,  Nottingham have kicked to the corner as they go looking for a 4th try. The line out is won and their forwards are pushing towards the line, the ref has blown again for a Nottingham scrum, the ball goes in and comes out with Nottingham now two or three metres from the line, but the Knights hold firm. 80 mins: Chris Briers inadvertantly catches a Nottingham player with the elbow as he is running for the ball, the Nottingham player goes down as if shot much like footballers. The referee chats to his linesman on the near side and decides the incident is worthy of a red card. (7-23)

80+ mins: Nottingham penalised by the referee in their own 22, Knights opt for a quick tap and are attacking inside the 22 but lose the ball as Ali Warnock knocks on. The referee then blows for full time.
