Post match after Doncaster take on Bristol in the RFU Championship Doncaster Knights will start the search for its new "Ale Factor"champion, someone who is willing to put in the effort to win a title and defend it against all comers.
The Castle Park staff will be on hand to take applicants, no more than 5 per week who would like to take on the Challenge of the most spotless Yard of Ale drinker in Doncaster Rugby.
The rules are simple.
The entry fee is only £5, and for that you will receive your Yard of Ale and a nice square of white paper to stand upon.
The Paper will be the measuring tool for dribbles, spillages and spots.
The winner of the first heat will receive two free tickets to the Doncaster Demons and Doncaster Dragons, but more than that the right to progress to the " Ale Factor" final when the Yard of ale King or Queen will be crowned.
This title will stand on record for the 2009/10 season, and the person who proves they have the " Ale Factor" will be invited back to defend their crown in the 20010-11 Season.
Entrants are welcomed from all groups over the age of 18, and as always everyone at Castle Park recommends you enjoy your drink responsibly......
Entry fees and applications can be processed pre match with the reception at Castle Park, or on match day in the club shop.
