What , where and when of Castle Park catering.

The Castle Park catering setup increases in size season on season, but always with the steady hand of Janet Hayes on the tiller to ensure we keep up the 5 star rating for our quality and hygiene. The operation itself is spread across the site and covers many events and happenings, so we thought a summary of what, where and when would be suitable for visitors old and new.

Matchdays.
Matchdays can be the busiest time for our catering staff. An example is the 500lbs of beef that went into the making of the cow pies served at the recent Friday night game v Cornish Pirates. 500lbs of beef makes a lot of pies, and a lot of satisfied customers.
There are several locations where food is served on a matchday, these are the Clubhouse (Arms Park or Lansdowne), Lower Hesley, the Concourse and the East Terrace BBQ.
Clubhouse : The main clubhouse behind the goal can serve food in several locations, but in the main on a matchday it will be in the Arms Park ( the largest bar facing the pitch) or the Lansdowne Suite (the suite facing Armthorpe rd used as a members bar). Both of these areas have seating for families , and reserved seating you can book in advance for the £6.50 waitress served Cow Pie meal. Pre match you can email sales@castle-park.co.uk or call 01302 831388 to book these meals and have a guaranteed seat and a waitress bring your meal.
You can also get served at the food counters from a selection of : Cow Pie, Chips, Mushy Peas, Lasagne, Jacket Potatoes, Chilli, Sandwiches, Curry, Pasties and Hot Dogs.
Obviously these rooms have fully staffed bars, and are easily accessible for Wheelchairs and families with children in Puschchairs.

Concourse.
The Concourse of the De Mulder Lloyd Stand is another location that has seating for families to eat at, but is a not an area you can pre book a waitress served meal at. This is the main meeting and socialising area for fans in the De Mulder Lloyd Stand. The Catering in the De Mulder Lloyd stand stays open all game, and has the same selection as the Clubhouse catering .

Hesley
The Hesley Suite catering facility is located at the corner of the East Terrace and the Clubhouse end. This catering unit is split between a bar and food, with separate queues for each. From the Hesley you can purchase Pies and Pasties as well as hot and cold drinks. For the children the Hesley also stocks sweets and chocolate.
East Terrace BBQ.
The East Terrace BBQ is in operation, although this can vary between a BBQ, Hog Roast or even more unusual catering depending on the game itself. The BBQ currently serves hot dogs and burgers, and is easily located behind the fans.

Tuesdays and Thursday Supper nights.
With the Castle Park clubhouse being open every evening during the week, and with the most amateurs training Tuesdays or Thursdays it was decided a good idea to open up the full kitchens on these evenings.
From 5.30 to 8.30 on these evenings you can purchase a special meal deal for two priced at £7.50 or an individual meal at £4. These are served in the Lansdowne Suite, with its fully staffed bar and SKY TV on the big screen. The menu caries week by week, with choices from home made Chicken and Mushroom pies, Scampi and Chips, Lasagne, Fillet of Salmon, Gammon and egg and always a vegetarian option.

Sunday Carvery
The Sunday Carvery has been running for over a year now, and has gone from strength to strength. The ever popular fresh cooked food and the stunning location of Castle Park with its fantastic views from the balconies make for a great Sunday lunch venue.
The Carvery itself costs £7 for adults and £4 for children, and is from a choice of succulent Pork, Beef or Turkey and fresh seasonal vegetables and potatoes etc. A menu is also available for sweets, desserts and various teas and coffees as well as the bar being fully staffed.
As with everything at Castle Park there is easy access for people needing wheelchairs or families with children in pushchairs.
