14 seconds: On the clock and Matt D'arcy picks the ball up at the back of a ruck on the Cardiff 22 and breaks to the line to score. Warnock adds the conversion. (7-0)

5 mins: Cardiff get on the scoreboard thanks to a Gareth Davies penalty from 30 metres. (7-3)

11 mins: Knights penalised midway back inside their half, Davies has again decided to go for the points, but this time his kick drops wide of the posts. (7-3)

16 mins: Cardiff on the attack in the Knights 22, but as the ball makes its way to the right the Knights defense stays firm and puts the winger into touch. (7-3)

20 mins: Oli Goss caught holding on after tracking back to collect a grubber kick through from Davies. The Welsh fly half has again decided to for the points, but this time his kick doesn't have the legs to reach to the posts and falls short. (7-3)

25 mins: Knights penalised for high tackle, Chris Briers was the guilty man. Davies steps up again for his fourth penalty attempt and misses again. (7-3)

29-35 mins: Knights having to defend a line out on their own line after Antony Carter had to put the ball into touch after a good kick through by fly half Davies. Cardiff regain possesion shortly after the line out and are again applying plenty of pressure inside the Knights 22. The referee has penalised the Knights and sent Bryn Griffiths to the sin bin for not rolling away after having been previously warner. Cardiff set the scrum and the Knights are penalised again. Cardiff decide to reset the scrum, the ball goes in and comes out but as the ball goes wide the Knights are penalised again. In fairness it looked like the decision should have been the other way this time but the ref has decided otherwise & the scrum is set again. The ball goes in and comes out and the Knights prevent Cardiff from scoring. But play is brought back for a 5 metre Cardiff scrum. (7-3)
 

36-40 mins: Cardiff win their scrum and attack the line out on the left side but again the Knights defense hold firm again. So play comes back again for 5 metre Cardiff scrum. The win the ball and the scrum half breaks away but is put into touch. But the referee brings play back & sends Tau to the bin for collapsing the scrum for the third time. The ball comes out and is fed back to Davies who puts a kick in, for all the world it looked like the kick was long but it bounce is kind to Ryan Howells who touches down for the visitors. Davies adds the conversion for Cardiff. (7-10)

Second Half:

41 mins: Cardiff penalised at the breakdown, going in at the side. Warnock steps up to take the penalty and puts the kick over. (10-10)

48 mins: Cardiff on the attack, but the move is ended as the Knights defense force the Cardiff man into holding on. Steve Boden has a line out through ten metres into Cardiff's half. Kenworthy takes the ball but Bryn Griffiths knocks on at first receiver. (10-10)

50 mins: TRY time> Ali Warnock puts in a great cross field kick which is taken by Andy Boyde who palms it down to Corsar who finds Andy Wright who reaches the line to score. Warnock adds the conversion from the touchline. (17-10)

54 mins: Cardiff's no' 8 is penalised for not releasing, Warnock steps up to take the penalty, but his kick goes just wide. (17-10)

56 mins: Knights on the attack inside Cardiff's 22 and the ref has blown for a penalty for the Knights. Ali Warnock has decided to go for the points with a kick from just left of the uprights, his kick is good and the Knights lead. (20-10)

63 mins: Knights on the attack after another good break from Chris Briers, which has led to another penalty for the Knights & a yellow card for Ashley Sweet. Warnock has stepped up to take the penalty but this time he puts it just wide of the posts. (20-10)

69 mins: Knights have a scrum on their own 22, the ball is retained but eventually kicked clear down field by Nicky Griffiths. (20-10)

74 mins: Knights penalised just shy of their 22, Cardiff take a quick tap and carry on with their forwards, but the ball eventually comes back to Davies who now decided to go for a drop goal, but misses. (20-10)

77 mins: Cardiff have a scrum right on the Doncaster 22 line, but as the ball goes wide their backs lose possesion and as a result of a Stuart Corsar kick Cardiff are now having to defend a line out on their 22. (20-10)

79 mins: Nicky Griffiths breaks away from the Cardiff defense just inside their 22 and scores for the Knights. Warnock adds the conversion. (27-10)

84 mins: Knights earn a penalty whislt on another raid into Cardiff's 22 in the closing minutes of the 6 minutes of injury time. Knights have chosen to set the scrum which will be the last play of the game, the ball goes in and Nicky Griffiths picks the ball up at the back of the scrum and breaks to score his second try of the game & aslo earns a bonus point for the Knights. Warnock adds the conversion to bring the game to an end. (34-10)
