1st min: London Welsh knock on, Knights scrum midway into the visitors half, as the scrum collapses the ref awards the Knights a penalty. James Brooks has decided to go for the points early on & his kick falls short of the posts. (0-0)

5 mins: Knights have another scrum ten metres into the oppositions half after a forward pass by their full back. This time the scrum goes against the Knights and they find themselves being penalised. (0-0)

7 mins: From a line out the left flank London Welsh spread the ball wide right and find their full back Aled Thomas who goes over, but play is brought back for a knock on. (0-0)

9 mins: Knights fail to deal with the scrum on their own line and are penalised. London Welsh opt to set the scrum but the Knights force the error and Matt D'arcy pounces on the ball. (0-0)

12 mins: Knights penalised for not rolling away from the tackle right on their own 22, Aled Thomas is succesful with the kick and puts the visitors into the lead. (0-3)

16 mins: Neil Cochrane takes a line out for the Knights and feeds Matt D'arcy who finds Hudson in the centres running onto the pass, sadly the move ends for the Knights as Andy Boyde loses control of the ball as he takes it into contact. (0-3)

18 mins: Knights power over London Welsh at a scrum and earn a penalty just short of their 22, again Brooks has decided to go for the points, this time around he puts the kick wide of the posts. (0-3)

21 mins: London Welsh win their line out on half way but have been turned over by the Knights. (0-3)

26 mins: London Welsh lose possesion as they were looking to attack the Knights 22, Matt D'arcy has the put in and Andy Boyde steals away with the ball but is penalised for holding on. Thomas has decided to go for the points with his second kick of the afternoon and doubles his sides lead. (0-6)

29 mins: Knights penalised at the breakdown just shy of the half way line, Thomas finds touch ten metres into the Knights half. The line out is won and spread right to the left to their winger who breaks down the line and goes for the chip and chase over Bevon Armitage, but the Knights centre intervenes and gets the ball into touch. (0-6)

33 mins: Knights win the scrum deep in their half and D'arcy manages to box kick the ball clear to just past the 22, after the line out win the ball is stolen and Dougie Flockhard breaks upfield and earns a penalty just shy of halfway. (0-6)

36 mins: Knights penalised as they were passing the ball down the line, it looked like the ref gave it for crossing. As a result London Welsh hae a line out deep into the Knioght half, they win the line out and spread the ball right again, now its gone back over to the left, they go blind down the left and then come back on the inside again but this time the ball is stolen by Hudson who ends that few minute spell of possesion by the visitors. 39 mins: As the first half is coming to an end its all London Welsh as they are attacking down in the Knights 22. This time as the ball isn't coming out the ref blows for a Welsh scrum, the scrum is won but as they are penalised for crossing as the man breaks away. (0-6)

SECOND HALF

42 mins: Hudson Tonga'uiha penalised for holding on after running the ball up field, Thomas finds touch deep inside the Knights 22. They've won their line out and are charging to the line, but the ref has awareded them a penalty (Knights penalised for going in at side). (0-6)

44 mins: Their resulting line out is won and this time they force their way over to score, with prop Michael Holford touching down. Thomas can't add the conversion. (0-11)

48 mins: As Will Hurrell goes to run the ball back he gets stopped just short of halfway and the referee awards London Welsh a scrum as the ball wasn't coming out, but then the visitors are penalised for feeding at the scrum. (0-11)

50 mins: Knights enjoying their best attacking spell of the game as Matt D'arcy breaks through and finds Bevon Armitage who almost breaks through the final tackle, but the visitors are there to stop him and hold the move up.  (0-11)

52 mins: The Knights find the break through and Hudson Tonga'uiha touches down to score for the Knights. Brooks adds the conversion. (7-11)

56 mins: Simon Grianger wins a line out back inside his own half, after receiving the kick from Brooks Thomas's kick goes out on the full and the Knights have a line out on the left flank ten metres into the Welsh half (7-11)

61 mins: London Welsh are penalised after a great break downfield by the Knights. Brooks steps up to take the penalty kick and his kick is good. (10-11)

64 mins: London Welsh are penalised again, this time at a scrum midway back in the Knights half, Brooks finds touch right on halfway and Steven Lawrie has the throw in, but the ball is lost and London Welsh kick clear down field. (10-11)

67 mins: Knights penalised for offside unfortunately after a bad bounce of the ball which catches Michael Cusack out. Thomas steps up to take the penalty and makes no mistakes. (10-14)

70 mins: London Welsh are on th attack inside the Knights 22 again, the ball has came out to the backs who are running it along the line, now the forwards have it back but the move comes to an end thanks to a forward pass as it went back right. (10-14)

73 mins: London Welsh penalised deep in the Knights 22, the on coming Steve Boden has a line out straight away midway inside his own half. The line out is won and the forwards have the ball, but constrive to lose it as it gets knocked forwards. (10-14)

75 mins: With five minutes to go, new signing Chris Bundy takes to the field in place of Andy Boyde, his first job is get in at the back of a Knights scrum just shy of halfway. (10-14)

78 mins; As Neil Cochrane broke away from the side of a maul the referee has awarded London Welsh a penalty, I can't say what for as I didn't see any interferance. Either way London Welsh have a line out on the Knights 22, the line out is won and the forwards are on the charge, earning themselves another penalty. Thomas again makes no mistakes with his penalty.
