Wheelchair Push

On the 5th December 2009 Chris Gryzelka, Mark Taylor, Bill and Menna Davis, Lee marsden and Dave Fairchild took part in an 8 mile wheelchair push to raise funds towards erecting a Memorial remembering the men of the 1st Airborne Reconnaissance Squadron.

Some of you sponsored us, some collected funds in for us and others donated through putting money into our collecting buckets. £365.39 was collected on the day of a Knights game from fans and Members.

I would like to thank you all for giving so generously.

Tom Perkins who collected £233.50 and Pete Saunders who collected £166.50 who went above and beyond to support the cause.

We have so far collected £3057 towards the fund. When  the rest of our sponsorship money is in we will have reached our target of £3500.

I'm sure by the Summer our Memorial will be erected.
