6 mins: After Pontypridd are penalised at the breakdown midway back inside their half, Brooks misses an early penalty as his kick goes wide of the uprights. (0-0)

10 mins: Early substitution for the Knights as Chris Bundy leaves the field with a leg injury to be replaced by Adam Kettle. (0-0)

12 mins: Knights attack inside the Pontypridd 22 ended as the ball is lost forward & the home side clear upto midway in their own half. (0-0)

13 mins: Knights win their resulting line out and the ball is moved along the line to find Hudson Tonga'uiha who finds Andy Boyde on his inside who scores. Brooks adds the conversion. (0-7)

20 mins: Pontypridd's kick goes out on the  full so play is brought back for a Knights line out ten metres into their half, but the line out is lost & Pontypridd have the ball back. (0-7)

22-26 mins: Pontypridd penalised inside their 22, the referee awards the penalty for a high tackle. Though in fairness it didn't look a bad one. Brooks finds touch deep in the 22, Townson wins the line out & the forwards drive to the line and the referee has awarded a second penalty to the Knights & sent Pontypridd's prop Ryan Harper is sent to the bin. Knights have chosen to set the scrum and the forwards have pushed their way over the line to score. Brooks adds the conversion. (0-14)

29 mins: Pontypridd have their first line out inside  the Knights 22 which they claim and begin to spread the ball wide. Now its came back to fly half Matthew Hutchings who cross kicks for captain Nathan Strong to catch who beats Knights full back Stevie McColl to score. Strong missed the conversion. (5-14)

33 mins: Pontypridd penalised for the second time inside their 22 for a high tackle, this time on Andy Boyde. Brooks finds touch inside their 22, the line out is won & the forwards have it under control but the ball has been stolen by Pontypridd as it just popped out of the ruck. (5-14)

36 mins: Fly half Hutchings breaks through the Knights midfield and the ball is worked to full back Michael Nuttall who is put into touch just before he was about to score by Dougie Flockhart. (5-14)

Second Half:

41-43 mins: Pontypridd have the first attack of the half and have made their way into the Knights 22 and have just been awarded a penalty from the referee. They've gone for a line out which is taken and recycled well but the Knights stand solid in defense and force Ponty back but by doing so concede another penalty. Scrum half Kristian Baller has stepped up to take the penalty from infront of the posts and his kick is good. (8-14)

50 mins: Pontypridd back defending in their half after and Hutchings kicks clear down field, replacement Antony Carter, playing on the wing returns the kick and the Ponty full back knocks on, giving the Knights a scrum ten metres into the opposition half. (8-14)

52 mins: Dougie Flockhart scores outwide on the right after the ball was spread wide quickly from the scrum. Brooks misses with the conversion from the touchline. (8-19)

55 mins: Kristian Baller kicks his second penalty of the evening for Pontypridd as the Knights were penalised shortly after the restart. (11-19)

59 mins: Knights penalised at the scrum ten metres inside their own half, scrum half Baller has again stepped up to take this penalty but this time has put it wide of the posts. (11-19)

67 mins; Nicky Griffiths has put in at the scrum just inside the Pontypridd 22, the ball goes in and comes out but is lost as after he'd received the ball back Nicky Griffith's pass goes a tad forward. (11-19)

70-74 mins: Knights on the attack inside Pontypridd's 22, the ball comes wide to Antony Carter on the wing and after he'd taken the ball into contact the referee has blown for a Knights scrum, but after consultation with his touch judge he has awarded the Knights a penalty. Brooks puts the ball into touch for a line out. Bryn Griffiths wins the ball and the forwards barge over again. I'm not sure who scored but it was probably Andy Boyde who came up with the ball in his hands. Brooks misses the conversion. (11-24)
