The Knights take on Nottingham Rugby at Castle Park this Saturday, a 3pm kick off in Round Two of the Promotion  playoffs. The prize at the end of the long road a place in the Guinness Premiership.

"Win your home games" has been a constant theme for Knights Director of Rugby Lynn Howells and after suffering a round 1 defeat the Doncaster Players have had those four words drummed into them all week.

A big performance is expected, and demanded, from Doncaster this week as they face a team they did not conquer in the Championship stage one this season.

" It is time to rely on experience and patience" Howells told local radio this week when questioned on the long road to promotion and how teams are thinking at this stage.

The Knights line up with an experienced team this week as Anthony Carter, Glen Kenworthy and Ngalu Tau take the field for this key clash, along with Simon Grainger and Steve Boden. These players have several hundred games in Knights colours under their belts and will help take the pressure from younger players in the squad.

A late problem for Dougie Flockhart has seen Andy Wright start the game after his abdominal injury, while Chris Briers continues his partnership in the Centre with Bevon Armitage.
