The Headless Huntsman made his first mysterious appearance at Castle Park as the Knights challenged Birmingham and Solihull.
3 Barrels of the real ale were summoned and 3 barrels were drank, defeating the Headless Huntsman. Now for this Halloween clash of the South Yorkshire Derby the Headless Huntsman has summoned a bigger challenge, 6 barrels of the Ale have arrived at Castle Park and lay in wait for thirsty South Yorkshire Rugby fans. A challenge for Halloween.
General Manager Neil Holmes said. “ Despite us believing the Headless Horseman had been banished by the diligent downing of the three barrels 6 more of the haunted casks have arrived for this Halloween clash. I have every confidence that the real ale and rugby enthusiasts of South Yorkshire will help us in exorcising all 6 this coming weekend.”
There is also time to book into the traditional pre match Cow Pie lunch in the Arms Park suite ( which will have Headless Huntsman served) for just £6.75. This includes a reserved space at a table and your Cow Pie, Chips and peas served by a waitress.
