20th Anniversary of the Cow Pie rolls on

A favourite of the Nottingham fans as well as the Doncaster fans the Cow Pie has stood the test of time. For the 2nd October game as the Knights take on Nottingham with a 2.30pm kick off the we are hoping to fill the Arms Park suite with fans of both clubs, and toast the Pie that has powered Doncaster Rugby for two decades.

General Manager Neil Holmes said, “ It is a pleasure every season to welcome Nottingham Rugby Supporters Club and over the years it has grown into us providing them one of our Restaurant Suites for a pre match Cow Pie lunch of their own” He continued, “This year with it being the 20th Anniversary of the Cow Pie we would like to bring both sets of fans together in our Arms Park suite to create a celebratory atmosphere pre match.”

Nottingham Rugby Supporters club have already booked over 80 seats for the pre match lunch meaning that advanced booking is advised. The cost of the Cow Pie meal at Castle Park is a satisfying £6.75 , which gives you your reserved seat in the Arms Park suite for your pre match lunch and your Cow Pie, waitress served to your table. On the day we have a selection of Cask Ales and Beers, our traditional Tetley’s Cask is available in all bars to help the atmosphere flow.

Any number of spaces can be reserved for the Nottingham pre match meal, the tables are set up in tables of 12 but whole idea of the day is for the fans to perhaps share tables, memories and stories before the game.
