DIRECT, in conjunction with the Children's Disability Play Team at DMBC and Doncaster PCT's Health and Social Care Involvement Fund, run a bi-monthly tag rugby coaching session for young people with various physical and learning disabilities at Castle Park.
Always involving members of the first team squad, the aims of the sessions are to promote sporting activities to those who would normally find it difficult to access them and assist in integrating them into a sporting environment.
As part of the project, Doncaster Knights donated sports kit to the regular participants and participants have also attended matches and taken part in rugby activities on a matchday.
