DONCASTER U13s: FROM BOYS TO MEN

When the squad first started training in July, they set themselves a number of mid season goals:

1. To be undefeated at Christmas (Done)
2. Win the Northern Finals of the Lexus Cup Competition (Done)
3. Reach the third round of the Yorkshire Cup (Done)

As Christmas approaches, the squad can look back with some pride at what they have achieved. The team's playing record speaks for itself. Played 13 and won 13 - 385 for and just 109 against.

There have been a number of excellent performances so far but none more so than Sunday's second round Yorkshire Cup game against Pocklington. After a bruising first half, the team turned around at half time 12-10 down with Pocklington on top. The game looked like slipping away when a Doncaster forward was "binned" early in the second half. However the team then rallied and Doncaster's 7 man pack then completely dominated the game with Doncaster scoring twice to win 20-12.
