Doncaster won a ferociously contested derby before 2500 fans at Castle Park.
Ben Gollings scored a try after 4 minutes, which Woody converted, and that was the only score of the half. A Woody penalty after the break extended the lead before Gareth Steenson hit three penalties to narrow the gap to a point. The game was decided in the last minute of normal time - turnover ball was carried deep into the Titans' 22 and several pick and drives later saw Jason Forster squeeze into the left corner for his 17th of the season.
