Major Festival of Junior Rugby at Castle Park this Sunday
This Sunday sees the well established annual Doncaster Junior Festival event at Castle Park.
This year there are ten teams invited for every age group from 7 to 12 and well over 700 children scheduled to take part in the biggest event yet! Teams from
Doncaster, Durham, Dinnington, Goole, Grimsby, Wheatley Hills, Hessle, Hull and others will all come together for what promises to be a day of fun filled competition.
The day starts with registration at 9.45am and thereafter continuous rugby will take place on every one of the 6 pitches at Castle Park, concluding with the presentation of trophies at around 3.30pm by Doncaster Knights’ President, Tony De Mulder.
We are having a massive BBQ, raffle, tombola and sweet stall. There is a band on at lunch time. Full catering will keep players and families fed all day.
An entrance charge of £2 per car includes a programme for the day.
