Doncaster, who last won the Yorkshire Cup in 2000, take on Wharfedale on Wednesday evening at York RUFC (7.30pm). The Greens have had a positive season in National Two, finishing in 6th spot having lost only 11 of their 26 matches. Last Saturday they held league winners Esher to a high scoring draw and are reported to be fielding their strongest side.
Doncaster name a XV that includes four of their regular league side, but with plenty first team experience throughout. Mark Woodrow and Dave Scully form an experienced half back pairing that should give direction behind a strong pack, and with plenty pace outside them.
Doncaster: Carter, Worrincy, Bailey, Cannon, Storey, Woodrow, Scully, List, Plevey, Rawson, Griffiths, D Cook, Grainger, Peacey, O Cook.
Bench: Barretto, Phillips, Wilkinson, Cusack, Rees, Ellis, Deakin.
Referee: R Phillips (N. Yorks/RFU)
