The quest for a new Director of Rugby continues daily and details of any appointment made will be posted on our website immediately a contract is signed. We have interviewed a number of excellent applicants but, for various reasons beyond our control, none resulted in a successful outcome.
In the meantime, we would ask everyone to be patient and accept that this matter has the highest possible priority. Pre-season training continues apace with Justin Bishop, assisted by Geoff Evans, our Fitness & Conditioning Coach, and a number of our senior players, taking the lead. We will be using guest invitation coaches in the interim one of whom will be Kingsley Jones on Thursday evening and Friday morning of this week. The spirit within the squad is outstanding and the measurable fitness levels are very, very high.
