The superior pace and fire power of the Saints won out in the end but not before the Knights had competed wonderfully well for 70 minutes - a late penalty and converted try gave the score line a gloss that even home supporters agreed was not warranted. Scott Gray scored two Knights' tries, both converted by Mark Woodrow who added a penalty.
