Newbury Blues

On Saturday (kick off 2.00pm) the Knights are at home against Newbury, a club we have been playing each of the past six seasons since we first met in National Two. To date there have been eleven matches between us, and the Knights have only lost just the once back in 2002/03 on their ground.

After a poor start, the Blues have been in good recent form and almost caused the upset of the year when running Northampton close 24-23 at Franklins Gardens.

Guests at the match will be The Dons rugby league team and their new coach, Ellery Hanley. It's part of a growing relationship between the two clubs and will be reciprocated later in the season at a Dons' match at The Keepmoat Stadium.

If you buy your ticket for this match in advance, you will be able to buy tickets for the EDF Trophy match against Richmond (12 January) at half price. This offer is also open to season ticket holders - season tickets do not include entry to Cup games.

The Knights team will not be announced until Saturday. After the huge disappointment of the last home game, Lynn Howells' squad are in no doubt what is required this time out and ask for a large turnout of home supporters to get behind them on Saturday. Please be there!
