Wood on way to score!

Doncaster v Exeter on Saturday at CastlePark2.30pm

Doncaster have several first choice players absent from the line up to face the full time Exeter Chiefs, including captain Rob Liley who will now be absent until late November with two bone fractures in his ankle. Jon Benson continues to deputise at fly half. Glen Kenworthy misses a second match in a row after requiring 20 stitches in a leg wound sustained in an accident at work – Ed Norris will lock the scrum with Dan Cook in the second row. Michael Wood has not recovered in time from the groin strain from the Pirates match two weeks ago.

Adding to the sick list, all with injuries from last week’s game at Bedford, are James Rothwell (hamstring), Jonny Roddam (hip) and Simon Bunting (ankle sprain). Ngalu Tau comes in for Bunting, Scott Plevey will play at hooker, and Richard List gets a start at prop; but on the plus side former Bristol wing Luke Nabaro has passed fit to make his debut on the wing.

Tactical decisions see the Leicester on loan signing Dan Montagu preferred to Oliver Cook at Eight, and Charlie Harrison preferred to Llyr Lane at scrum half. Russell Earnshaw will captain the side. The team is:

Doncaster: J Boden, L Nabaro, B Hunt, D Murray, D Van Vuuren, J Benson, C Harrison, R List, S Plevey, N Tau, D. Cook, E Norris, R Earnshaw, S Grainger, D Montagu.

Bench: S Barretto, S. Boden, T Davies, J Rule, O. Cook, L Lane, D Ligairi.

Referee: Andrew Small (RFU).

Match Sponsor: Wilbourn Associates
