Doncaster U12s On Tour
Ireland 2008
Friday 28th March is the departure date for our 4-day tour to Tramore, Southern Ireland. 20 players from the U12s along with family and friends will cross the water to land of the leprechauns 64 passengers in total.
This tour has been planned for almost a year now and the boys are all very excited at the prospect of visiting other clubs and meeting new friends who enjoy playing rugby.
We are being hosted by three clubs over the weekend of the tour
Gorey RFC, Waterpark RFC and Carrick-On-Suir RFC and look forward to some good rugby.
Every rugby tour deserves to have a theme and our chosen theme
Knight Knight Sleep Tight
This means that every rugby player has to carry a teddy bear with them at ALL times or face a forfeit. One of the evenings it is compulsory for every member of the tour to wear their PJs !
Finally it goes without saying that the fund raising has not been easy for the tour but every player has been sponsored to the tune of Ł100 each with a huge thanks to the following:
