Doncaster Knights are pleased to announce the signing of 21 year old full back Jamie Lennard from local rivals Rotherham Titans.
Lennard impressed Director of Rugby in a number of videos he has seen of him, particularly with his versatility (he can also play flyhalf) and his goal kicking.
Jamie learned his rugby at Harpbury College From there he moved to Worcester Academy playing for England at U20 level as well as making a couple of appearances for the senior side in the Powergen Cup. Jamie stands 1.85m and weighs in at 109k. After Worcester he spent half a season at Moseley before moving on to, and becoming a great success at the Titans.
Jamie has some scoring prowess for a 21 year old, finishing the season as Rotherham Titans second highest points scorer, having a particularly high scoring game against Exeter this season.
Jamie is looking forward to making the short move across South Yorkshire, alongside Neil Cochrane for the 2008/09 season.
