Lynn Howells announces two further signings this week, joining the list of Adam Kettle, Geoge Hughes and Jamie Lennard already announced as joining the Knights next season. Bevon Armitage, who comes from Brixham in Devon, is the brother of London Irish stars Delon and Steffon and his style of play is arguably a mix of both. He is good in close contact whilst also being fast and direct. In addition to playing for Esher he has also played for England Counties.
Doncaster Knights have signed 25 year old centre Bevan from 1st Division rivals Esher. Bevan who is 1.86m tall and weighs 90kg. He impressed both Director of Rugby Lynn Howells and back’s coach Justin Bishop when he played against the Knights earlier this season and they had no hesitation in approaching Bevan when they heard he was looking for the opportunity to try rugby on a full time basis.
