Doncaster Knight's Director of Rugby Lynn Howells is delighted to announce that second row Glen Kenworthy has agreed to an extension of his contract that will now keep the big Kiwi at the Club until at least May 2010. Lynn says that Glen has been one of the Club's most outstanding and consistent players this season and it is good to know that he will be with us for at least another two seasons.
Having the most league appearances this Season for the Knights, with 28 starts for far and one appearance from the subs bench Glen has been the heart of the engine room this season. Originally signing from Rotherham in 2005 Kenworthy is a valuable “experienced head” to steady the new signings for next season, and help with their integration into the team.
