Hallam

Rotherham Titans have lost another player to the Knights banner as Scrum Half Chris Hallam is the third player to make the short trip across South Yorkshire. Chris , who made over 25 appearances for Titans last season, weighs in at 82 KG and stands 5’8” tall.

Chris began his rugby at Dinnington, a club celebrating its 40th anniversary this weekend and played rugby at England U18 and 19 level. “I was happy with my performances last season, but it just feels right to move to Doncaster” Chris told us “My game is about talking to the forwards, helping them work, and having played against this pack I know they are one of the best in National League One”

“I used to play at 7, so my game has evolved with the change of position. I think it gives me an understanding of what the boys need from me,” The new Knights Scrum half explained.

The move of Neil Cochrane was an admitted influence on Chris went it game to decision time “ Neil is a quality player” Chris Enthused “ it was also great to get a chance to play against the knights a couple of weeks back and show Lynn Howells what I’m all about.”.

Asking Chris for a final comment we got this :

“Ben Jones is someone I’ve played Sevens with, and I know he was a popular player here. What I want to do is work hard and impress the fans. With such an imposing set of forwards to play alongside I believe I can live up to the expectations Lynn has of me on the field”.
