After their first successful year cheerleading for Doncaster Knights, the DK Arrowz have confirmed that they intend to be a regular fixture at Castle Park next season.
The Arrowz, an inclusive dance club which encourages boys and girls of all abilities to take part in dance and movement, wowed the crowd at home games this season and established themselves as part of the Doncaster Knights matchday experience.
“The girls and boys worked very hard all year to put on a show for the crowds” Community Manager David Butler.
“They trained regularly each week and come rain, shine, snow or sleet they were present at all the Knights home games and other promotional activities, including dancing before thousands at the Doncaster Sport Relief event.”
The dancers are continually looking to recruit people to the club and are still training on Tuesday nights at Castle Park from 4pm to 6pm each week in preparation for the new season.
“Not everyone who wants to be involved at the Rugby club wants to play Rugby and this is another great example of how young people all abilities can come and enjoy a sporting activity, stay healthy and make use of the fantastic facilities available at Castle Park”
