Players from the First team and Academy squads spent he afternoon after training today joining forces to support two Town Centre events. The Medieaval festival to celebrate the 150th year since the rebuild Minster saw the bulk of the action.
A mixed team from the First team and Academy pulled together to face a team of all comers in the tug of war, and bravely went down fighting despite being massively outnumbered by the large numbers of children present. The Academy lads then volunteered for shield and sword drill, taking part in a battle re-enactment against the French to entertain the crowds.
Donny the White Knight as always was on top form entertaining the crowd as always, standing shoulder to shoulder with the Academy players during sword and shield drill and delighting younger fans with his skateboarding attempts.
