The coaching staff of Doncaster Knights are glad to have finally welcomed Josh Afu to Castle Park. After what seems an eternity the Tongan International XV arrived to meet up with the squa at Meadow Lane Sunday. Josh even played in the A XV game monday night, which is a testament to his dedication.
" Players of that level don't let themselves go easily, and I'm happy Josh has kept up his fitness as he could be needed".
The former Queensland Reds player could be called up straight away as the Knights suffer a double blow with both Kettle and Planchant unavailalble for selection. Kettle has undergone surgery on his broken finger and is scheduled for more surgery during his expected 8 week lay off, and Planchant has been suffering with his hamstring during training.
