3 mins: Doncaster are penalised at the scrum giving Ron McLean his first chance to kick at goal which he takes & converts succesfully.
8 mins: Jamie Lennard converts a penalty to bring the scores even.
10-13 mins : Doncaster win line out deep in the Coventry half, nice break from Hudson sets up a Doncaster attack which ends as Coventry are penalised, Doncaster opted for the scrum which they won and spread the ball nicely back into the middle for Bryn to score. Jamie Lennard makes the conversion.
17 mins: Doncaster win another line out deep in the Coventry half and look like scoring again but a pass to Donavan Van Vuuren goes forward & Coventry now have a scrum.
22 mins: Coventr get their first try through Dorrain after a good break through the centre of the field by the centre. Conversion attempt is missed.
27-30 mins: Coventry have possession & win a scrum midway into the Doncaster half, they are starting to spread the ball nicely, now the forwards have taken the ball and the game comes to a halt for a scrum to Coventry, which they win and begin to push ahead with the forwards again but Doncaster stand firm.
33 mins: Coventry have another scrum five metres from the Doncaster line, which they lose but Doncaster give away the ball cheaply & Jamie Miller has an easy opportunity to touch down for Conventry’s second try. Conversion made by McLean.
35-37 mins: Doncaster break straight down the centre well after the restart through Hudson Tonga'uiha who passes to Bevan Armitage who doesn't quite make the line, Coventry are penalised tho & Doncaster opt for the scrum 5 metres from the Coventry line and push on well, to be awarded a penalty try by the referee, Jamie Lennard makes the conversion.
38-40 mins: Doncaster attacking well after the restart and gave possesion deep in the Coventry half, Jamie Lennard goes for the drop goal & narrowly misses by hitting the post. After trying to get the ball upfield Doncaster force the Coventry player into touch & Doncaster have a line out in the Coventry half which they've won, but are penalised by the referee giving Coventry the chance to clear their lines.
40+ mins: Coventry win a line out deep in their hal & kick the ball upfield giving Doncaster one of their own on the half way line, which Josh Afu wins and the forwards begin to charge down field. Doncaster lose the ball through a forward pass & now Coventry have a scrum to defend. After exchanging kicks, Doncaster come out with possesion & Jamie Lennard goes for the cross field kick & the Coventry player is forces into touch. Doncaster win the line out again & the forwards set up good quick ball which found its way to Bevan Armitage to run in and score, Jamie Lennard makes the conversion which is followed immediately by the referee's whistle to bring the first half to an end.
Second Half
41 mins: Doncaster awarded first penalty after the interval. Line out is won again, but Doncaster lose the ball & Coventry clear the ball back into the Doncaster half.
44-49 mins: Donavan Van Vuuren touches down in the left corner, but the try isn't given but Doncaster have a penaly & Jamie Lennard kicks to the corner. Doncaster win the line out and awarded a penalty by the referee, they opt for the scrum right on the Coventry line, Doncaster awarded another penalty & the scrum is chosen again, the forwards push on but are penalised by the referee allowing Coventry to clear the ball
53 mins: Coventry lose possesion midway in their own half, giving Doncaster a scrum. Coventry manage to regain possesion and start to run the ball up the field but are eventually put into touch by Antony Carter & company.
57 mins: Doncaster are penalised giving Coventry a line out midway in the Doncaster half, which they win and spread the ball well right to left but are again forced into touch by Doncaster.
59-63 mins: Doncaster awarded a penalty for an infringement at the breakdown & now have a line out just past halfway, which they win & after a good break from Chris Hallam are awarded a penalty. Jamie Lennard kicks to the corner as Doncaster go looking for their 4th try and the bonus point. The line out is won & the charge is on to the line, but the game is stopped by the referee & Doncaster have a scrum but this time lose the ball & Coventry manage to clear the ball upfield.
64 mins: Darren Clayton sin binned as Doncaster awarded another penalty. Jamie Lennard goes for the corner again, Doncaster win the line out & now have a scrum on the Coventry line. After winning the scrum Doncaster spread the ball quickly but lost possesion & Coventry cleared the ball.
70 mins: Donavan Van Vuuren touches down for the fouth try & earns Doncaster a bonus point by finishing off a good team move. Jamie Lennard makes the conversion.
74 mins: Chris Hallam sent to the sin bin after a good break by coventry, coventry win the resulting line out & start to attack the line, after some good work Nathan Jones scores for Coventry. Conversion made by Ron McLean
79 mins: Jamie Lennard makes a long penalty attempt to increase the Doncaster lead.
80 mins: Doncaster defend well after Coventry were beginning to make ground in the Doncaster half. Doncaster have lost possesion running the ball up the field, but it doesn't matter as the referee blows the whistle for full time.
