Creative facial hair will be the order of the day as Doncaster Knights take on Bedford Blues at Castle Park on the 22nd of November. In support of Lana's fund, the whole Doncaster Knights squad WILL NOT SHAVE until the morning of the home game against Bedford Blues, and they are looking for your support to sponsor them in the next stage of MOVEMBER TO REMEMBER, The month of the moustache.
On the morning of the 22nd, they will be challenged to come up with the most attractive or bizarre facial hair display whch they will wear unil the end of that day.
Whether it be muttonchops, beard, goatee, Van Dyke, facial fuzz, Zapataa The player will be judged on his efforts by the Nurses at Frances street Medical Centre who are taking part in their own fundraiser for Lana by taking advantage of the 50% cashback deal.
As a special deal, any company or individual who would like to sponsor a players facial adornment for £50 or more (donated to Lana's fund) can dictate that players style of facial hair for the day and be photographed in an admiring pose with said facial decoration.
Rumours are that MOVEMBER TO REMEMBER , the month of the moustache, challenge may even be taken up by certain Castle Park staff wih media manager Martin Haythorne and Chief Executive James Criddle believing they could challenge for the title of " Mr Mo-vember" as the Knights take on Bedford Blues.
Offers of sponsorship can be forwarded on to the players via press@castle-park.co.uk, and sponsor forms will be made availalble for any fans who would like to challenge for the title of Mr Mo-vember......
Remember, all of this fun is aimed at raising money for Lana's fund, Four month old Lana Benyon’s immune system does not work because of a rare genetic order names Omenn’s Syndrome, which has meant life confined in a Bubble since her move from Sheffield Children’s Hospital to Newcastle.
