Doncaster disappointed by failing to turn dominant pack effort into points under the very poor lights at Beeston. Not even 32 minutes inside the Notts half after the interval could produce one score as the backs lacked any cutting edge. We were indebted to Steve Meyer for a number of wonderful try saving tackles when Notts did break out and he was the outstanding man of the match on a dismal evening.
