Doncaster will unveil the latest addition to the already excellent facilities at CastlePark when the club hosts Bedford Blues this Saturday.
A newly built two storey building in the north east corner of the ground will be connected to the main clubhouse at balcony level. On match days the upstairs facility will be used to allow additional sponsorship hospitality and during the week it will be available for conference, meeting or dinner party use. At ground floor level a new match day bar and food point, plus additional toilet facilities, will further improve spectator match day experience.
Details of the new facilities on offer are summarised below.
- The size of the Hesley Suite (upstairs) is 10mtrs x 6 mtrs (large sliding doors to the front of the suite)-overlooking the 1st team pitch
- The capacity sitting down 48 persons.
- Fully air conditioned/heated
- Fully equipped bar serving all bottle beer products and has Tetley's smooth and Carlsberg on tap.
- The upstairs can be accessed via the main balcony from the Murrayfield Suite end, can be accessed either side of the building via staircases to a large balcony overlooking the main first team pitch.
- Large screen, background music system.
- Blue carpet fitted wall to wall, new furniture, chairs exactly the same as what we have in the Lansdowne suite , some without arms, material in a rich red colour. Also small round tables , again the same as we have in the Lansdowne suite.
- Suite will be used for hospitality on match days and on weekdays we will be using it for conferences and meeting rooms, and small private parties.
DOWNSTAIRS OUTSIDE BAR AND FOOD POINT
- Fully stocked bar with all usual products including spirits , so if anyone requires a hot toddy ,we now can supply.
- There are three large pump heads at bar level for easier serving which contain 3 Carlsberg and 3 Tetley smooth heads, plus Pepsi , diet Pepsi, lemonade on ta.
- Food point- Fully installed water boiler, from which hot drinks will be on constant flow and we will be selling hot pies,hot jacket potatoes, various cup soups, all hot beverages, crisps , sweets.
- Toilets -there are public gents , ladies , and disabled all located on the sides of the building.
- There will be an official opening of the Hesley suite on Saturday by Steve Lloydof The Hesley Group, whose sponsorship of the new construction is greatly appreciated.
