Dan Cook has been forced to withdraw from the Doncaster team to play Rotherham on Sunday after injuring a shoulder in training this week. His place is taken by Ed Norris. Cook was one of eight former Rotherham players in the Doncaster squad who had made over 750 appearances for their former club, led by Simon Bunting (191) and Glen Kenworthy (148).
When the clubs met at Clifton Lane earlier in the season, the home fans didn’t know who to shout for, such were the loyalties towards their long standing favourites! Doncaster are still wondering how they lost that game after dominating the first half and going in with a 19-6 lead at the break and are determined to even the score on Sunday when a large crowd is expected for this local derby.
The Doncaster team is otherwise the same that started against London Welsh last time out.
