Mark Woodrow

Woodrow to take the 10 shirt…….

Mark Woodrow has been unveiled as the man to fill the considerable gap left by Rob Liley’s retirement in next season’s Doncaster squad.

Mark, aged 25, played at Birmingham and Bristol before joining Nottingham last season and was instrumental in the Greens’ win at Castle Park at the end of last season, creating space and movement in the visitor’s backs as well as landing four conversions and a penalty to confirm his kicking skills. He has also played in Italy.

An electrician by trade, Mark’s finest playing moment to date arguably came when he scored 18 points in the famous televised 28-24 Powergen Cup win by Birmingham against London Wasps two season’s ago. He will be looking to pass the 500 career points mark in a Doncaster shirt in September.
