As part of an exiting move to form a charity, the community programme at First Division Rugby
We are looking for an individual who have experience in rugby coaching and also an interest in working with children at primary and secondary school levels in a professional sporting environment.
Job Description
· To work with the Community Programme Manager to develop a grassroots rugby programme in schools.
· To deliver a programme of TAG and contact rugby within schools and clubs raising participation in Doncaster’s rugby clubs and the health and well being of young people
· To devise and deliver pre-match coaching and promotional activity at First Division home games.
· To work with the professional playing squad in community activities
· To assist in the co-ordination and delivery of match day activities
· To act as a representative of DRFC and Doncaster Rugby Education and Community Foundation to promote the clubs image in the community
Requirements
· Driving Licence and own means of transport
· Basic IT skills
· Relevant coaching experience/coaching qualifications (Minimum RFU level 1 or equivalent)
· Availability to work on match days (typically alternate Saturdays) within the Rugby Season
Notes
· This position is subject to a police CRB check
· The salary for this post Is £16,000 – £18,000 dependent on experience. In addition to this, travel expenses will be provided.
