First new addition to Doncaster Squad
Doncaster are pleased to welcome Anthony Carter to Castle Park, the first of several new players who will join the club for next season.
Carter, aged 25, and born in Bridgend, played his rugby for the Celtic Warriors regional side in Wales before moving to Rotherham last summer. He is a wing or full back with exceptional pace but a broken leg curtailed his season at Clifton Lane before Xmas after making 14 starts for Rotherham and he has been in recuperation since then.
“Signing for Doncaster will restart my career” he said. “The set up here is fantastic and there is no doubt that we will have a competitive side next season.”
Further good news for the Castle Park outfit came as Canadian international centre John Cannon signed a two year extension to his contract; and popular prop Ngalu Tau has also committed himself to the club for another year.
