Doncaster Phoenix 2^nd XV enjoyed another win in the Yorkshire merit.

With Ed Crowe away wedding shopping it was left for Manny Skidmore to take over the reigns with notable inclusions seeing backs of the calibre of Tom Elliot and Jon Ellis with Dave Atkinson coming in at hooker.

It was the visitors who opened the scoring in the first five minutes through some poor defending to allow them to score in the corner.

After that Phoenix then took charge in the pack and pushed the visitors around the park. The game was to later go to uncontested which took a bit of the shine off.

Scores came from Dave Maguire, Lee Colcombe, Captain Skidmore, Dave Atkinson with Chris Hughes knocking over two conversions and a penalty.
