Travelling with only 13 players it was inevitable that due to the lack of hands that the result was reflected so.

However credit must go to the lads who did turn and travel and had they had a full complement would have been capable of turning the result.

Inclusions saw Coach Conway add to numbers and Charlie Woodhall who enjoyed experience with Doncaster 1^st Xv in the North East Divisions 13 years ago.

Players who deserve credit are Young, Horrocks or Veal who never gave up all day and proved a thorn in the home sides rear all day. Woodhall made ground on carrying the ball and Watts also harried all day!

Hopefully we can gather a full complement for next Saturday’s fixture which is a bit closer to home at Rotherham Phoenix
