In this already topsy turvy season Phoenix recorded a thunping result against a poor Otliensians side.

The damage was done in the first half with the new look pack overpowering their visitiors and he HT scoreline read 59-7 with a hat trick of tries from Will Maddock, a brace from the recalled Taylor, and scores from Fielding.

The second half was not such the specatcle to behold but Phoenix increased their account with scores from Burton and Maddock and spurning 3 chances with forward passes when a score beckoned.

Notable performances from a re-invigourated Morris at hooker and Kaihau to the fore at lock.

Next week's task promises to be a much tougher encounter when Phoenix hit the road to take on early leaders Hessle and need to keep this momentum going.
