The forthcoming season will see a change to the current merit table competition that Phoenix have competed in over the last few seasons.
It will now be replaced with a 2nd XV league comprising of the Yorkshire 3 sides and the likes of Sheffield 3rds and Skipton 2nds.
Hence it should benefit teams who play more matches and avoids sides playing 5 games with 100% record running out near the top.
To that end this should add a further edge to the Phoenix programme and requires a consistent turnout to meet our potential
