Stocksbridge 23 Doncaster Phoenix 21
Phoenix went out last night in the semi-final of the South Yorkshire Trophy in an entertaining close game at Stocksbridge.
Trailing 20-9 at half time they showed gritted determination to reply with a Steve Maguire try and penalty try converted by Hughes but were thwarted by a solitary drop goal early on in the second half that took Stocksbridge to the final where there will meet holders Sheffield Tigers 2's.
