I know they always say, will the last one out please turn out the lights, am I that person? If so, someone should have told me......................

Its the 19th March, there have been no posts on this forum for 6 days now, have you all turned off in disgust, or does apathy rule I wonder?

OK we've had two pretty poor results in the play offs, should we start to examine the true causes maybe. Easy for management to say, 'well unfortunately we are strapped with injuries' but I would say that more importantly than this we are suffering the ill effects of a squad that was far too small from the outset.

Despite this they played b..... well for the main part of the season, and with some excellent results kept themselves out of the mire. Like all small armies, they gradually lost more and more men, filled in all over the place out of position, and ultimately have become tired and lost their will to win.

Lets at least get behind them on the forum and keep it ticking over to show that we are all still here.

Even 'Mr Moderator' seems to have deserted us..............

I think you will find the 'Apathy' is due to the fact that the playoffs are pointless.

Agreed,
Playoff's were an ill judged introduction along with the scrapping of the traditional "fa cup" style national cup, and the introduction of the pointless B&I cup.

Don't worry I am still here but just have nothing to moderate.

It was very disappointing so few supporters followed the Knights at Nottingham.  I know many of you were not impressed with the cancelled game at Meadow Lane a month ago but to boycott the game is not helping the Knights who need your support.

John

Peter, you may be right about the playoffs - Jono, you may be right about the scrapping of the National Cup and the introduction of the B&I cup (as it happens I completely agree with you!)

My point is - does that mean that no members of the forum continue to discuss issues, especially club related ones which I feel should be to the fore right now. OK maybe we are done and dusted for this season but the players (many of whom read this forum) need to know that their SUPPORTERS, (the clue is in the name!) are still there, and still behind them.

You can choose to turn away and show no further interest, they still have to go out for at least the next four games and try and do their best, lets just give a show of encouragement to them.

Bill, please follow live updates through the website and twitter for full live feed during every game which of course was running yesterday.  Report and reaction are now up and please keep supporting the Knights as Simon says the players really need and want your backing and it is very much appreciated.

Bill, all you had to do was click on the button marked 'twitter' on the front page of the website, you would have not only got the final score, but a written commentary all the way through - easy!

I wish there was radio commentary provided by BBC or any other local radio station, but that is not going to happen in a predominant football region, so this is the best we have if you cannot attend, and DKScores does a good job.
