Fly ‘Knights Air’ to Cornish Pirates.
Following the success of last year’s ‘Knights Air’ trip to Jersey the Club is seeking an expression of interest for places on a charter flight to Newquay for the Knights clash with Cornish Pirates on March 4th 2018.
The 2017/18 fixture list sees the Knights head to Penzance for Round 17 of the Greene King IPA Championship to face Cornish Pirates and the Club are exploring the possibility of chartering an aircraft to fly the vast majority of the 738 mile round trip.
A Boeing 737 airliner would fly to Cornwall Airport Newquay returning to Doncaster Robin Hood Airport on game day, carrying the Knights playing squad with room for 100 supporters.
The charter flight would offer complimentary tea and coffee and bar – for all other than Knights players on the outbound leg!The ‘away day’ package would include flights, return ground transfers to and from The Mennaye Field as well as a match day ticket and some form on pre-match meal TBC.
The cost of the trip is estimated to be £300 and in order to make the trip viable a good proportion of the 100 supporter seats would need to taken up. The full cost for the playing squad and their support staff is borne by the Club and the spectator fare does not contribute or supplement the Club’s costs.
Before progressing further the Club are asking for an initial expression of interest from supporters. If there is sufficient interest further information regarding timings and payments will follow.
To register your interest please contact reception by August 1st either by calling 01302 831388 or emailing reception@castle-park.co.uk at your earliest convenience.
